The RAM for Bacecamp Next (the yet to be released version of Basecamp).  I think it’s going to be pretty fast… (via)

“Macs were (and are) just better. Not just because they were better built or put together, but because Apple was a better company. A braver company. A company that stood for higher ideals. When compared to the empire of Microsoft and the Dells, Sonys of the time, it simply felt like they were more right.”

Beautiful Safari Icons »

I just love these icons by Michael Flarup. I’m using the old compass icon. You can download the whole set here.  When customizing icons in OS X, I recommend people use CandyBar by Panic.

Bauer Vapor X 3.0

Just got my new Bauer Vapor X 3.0s in today. I can’t wait to get these things on the ice…

iBooks Author »

I have been playing around with this for a few days now.  It’s really good.  I can’t wait to see what people do with it. You can find it here on the Mac App store.

“Comparing iOS HIG and Android Design, it’s interesting that the iOS HIG understands design as what your app does, Android as how it looks.”

Kirby CMS »

Database-less content management systems seem to be all the rage these days.  This one looks pretty good… if you’re in to that sort of thing.

impress.js »

This really puts a lot of PowerPoint presentations to shame.  Plus, it’s all powered by the magic of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. (via)

“Inspired” by Apple »

Apple is the best in the industry in the area of product design. That’s a big reason why many people buy their products. The problem Apple is having now is that many other companies seem to be copying their designs.  My word of advice for Apple… Stop making such beautiful and awesome products that everyone wants… (via)

I have been a fan of the Mac app since the betas. The iOS version can’t come soon enough.

IE6 is the 1% »

Very good news.

iOS has More than Half of Mobile Web Browsing Marketshare »

“These figures are interesting because they don’t fit in with other metrics that show Android is the leading mobile OS… This difference is likely the result of mobile Safari which, in my opinion, offers a better browsing experience than Android.”

Google+ Traffic up 55% »

I don’t spend much time on Google+ but I’m glad to see that it’s growing.  I don’t really use or like Facebook but I definitely see myself using G+ more and more as it get more popular. (via)

Facebook Dropping Support for IE7 »

Facebook has opted against partial Timeline support in IE7, instead choosing to ignore this browser version altogether, suggesting that this is the beginning of plans to phase-out support for Microsoft’s five year-old browser.

Windows Phone Market Share Down »

I really like Windows Phone.  They are thinking outside the box with the whole metro UI… unlike some other companies.  If the iPhone didn’t exist, I think I would be using a Windows Phone.  Microsoft really needs to turn their market share ship around and start selling some phones. (via)

Drew Brees Breaks Dan Marino’s Passing Record »

“Not only is Brees now the single season passing yardage leader, he’s only the second quarterback ever to crack the 5,000-yard passing barrier and the only quarterback in NFL history to hit that mark twice in their career.”

I posted this last year but I think it’s so funny that I had to post it again.
